Hospitalist

TeamHealth is adding a new Hospitalist program at Broward Health North in Pompano Beach, Florida. Deliver compassionate patient care as a full-time hospitalist at this facility. TeamHealth will be working with the IM residency program. Core Faculty and non-core Faculty positions are available.

The hospitalist's schedule is seven-on, seven-off. TeamHealth offers a competitive compensation structure with a base hourly rate along with bonuses. A Florida license, DEA and completion of an IM residency program is required.

Located in Deerfield Beach, Broward Health North is a 409-bed hospital that offers a full continuum of care featuring a comprehensive stroke center, an adult Level II Trauma Center, a neurological institute, a joint replacement center, cardiovascular services, as well as general, vascular, endovascular and neurosurgery. Broward Health North recently added a $78 million expansion to create a 53-bed, all private room, 36,000-square-foot emergency department with three dedicated trauma bays, six new operating rooms, and renovations to the hospital's main entrance.

The city has over 101,400 residents which rises to over 150,000 during the season, when part-time residents return to enjoy the sun. Whether you want to charter a fishing boat at the Hillsborough Inlet or take the water taxi, spending time on the water is easy to do. For divers, Pompano Beach is the "wreck capital" of South Florida with 18 wrecks to explore.
