Inova Medicine Service Line is seeking a Gastroenterology physician who provides world class care in the diagnosis and treatment of advanced gastroenterology conditions and diseases. The physician will be staffed at our Inova Health Hinson Farm practice. He/she will provide outpatient Gastroenterology services and perform endoscopic procedures throughout the system as required. Required Inpatient support will include one week a month call coverage providing emergency services as needed. Services for conditions including: Colonoscopy Polyps Diagnosis of colon and bowel cancers Abdominal pain Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) Gallbladder stones and gallbladder cancer Ulcers Constipation Ulcerative colitis Crohn's disease Hepatitis Common bile duct stones Reflux esophagitis, esophageal dilation and other upper GI conditions Stomach disorders Pancreatitis Malabsorption and other nutritional problems Hepatology Metabolic disorders ERCP preferred but not required This is a hospital employed position with 90% - 95% of the procedures being conducted in an outpatient setting. Support staff consists of front desk schedulers and LPN's. Inova offers a market competitive compensation and benefits package.
